Action from Italian soccer’s Coppa Italia will be shown this weekend in Indonesia and Singapore after broadcast deals were negotiated by Reddentes Sports, the Singapore-based rights agency.

TVRI, the free-to-air broadcaster, will air a selection of games in Indonesia (across TVRI Nasional and TVRI Sport HD), and StarHub, the pay-TV broadcaster, will showcase the action in Singapore.

This weekend’s round-of-16 games include Sampdoria’s clash with AC Milan, Torino’s game against Fiorentina and Bologna versus Juventus.

The broadcasters will also show next week’s Supercoppa Italiana between Juventus and AC Milan.

Reddentes secured the rights in an agreement with Lega Serie A and Infront Italy, its agency adviser.

Mark Chew, managing director of Reddentes Sports, said today: “Italian football continues to have a robust following in Singapore and Indonesia and we are delighted to see both major cup competitions being showcased on great broadcast partners in StarHub and TVRI. We look forward to growing its footprint work with rights-holders and distribution agencies to serve sports fans across the region.”
