Football fans of Italy’s premier football cup tournaments can look forward to LIVE coverage of the Coppa Italia and the Super Coppa Italiana in Singapore and Indonesia following an agreement to showcase the upcoming 2018-2019 season, starting this week.

Coppa Italia’s Round of 16 kicks off on 12-15 January with Sampdoria vs Milan, Torino vs Fiorentina, Bologna vs Juventus and other top matches. The action continues on 17 January with a highly-anticipated Super Coppa Italiana tie between Juventus and Milan.

The matches will be shown in Singapore on StarHub across its Hub Sports channels and on Go Sports on StarHub Go, as well as on Indonesia free-to-air channel on TVRI Nasional and TVRI Sport HD. The deal was secured by Singapore-based sports agency Reddentes Sports following an agreement with Lega Serie A, through its Advisor Infront.

According to Mark Chew, Managing Director of Reddentes Sports, “Italian Football continues to have a robust following in Singapore and Indonesia and we are delighted to see both major cup competitions being showcased on great broadcast partners in StarHub and TVRI. We look forward to growing its footprint work with rights holders and distribution agencies to serve sports fans across the region.”

Marco Brunelli, Lega Serie A CEO, said, “We are delighted to have closed this partnership for Singapore and Indonesia. We deem that Coppa Italia and SuperCoppa Italiana deserve visibility all over the world and with this agreement we assure the valorization of our properties in South East Asia.”

The Coppa Italia is Italy’s top domestic cup competition featuring clubs across all tiers from the Serie D to Serie A. The Super Coppa Italiana is contested by the winners of the Serie A and the Coppa Italia in the previous season, and it will be played in Saudi Arabia for the first time on 16th January 2019.
